Superb and rare set of 4 dining chairs from the famous Italian high leather goods house Matteo Grassi, dating from the 1980s-1990s. These pieces stand out for their ultra-pure postmodern design and exceptional craftsmanship: they are fully upholstered in very high-quality red saddle leather. The structure and slender legs are completely covered, creating a silhouette of timeless minimalism. The tone-on-tone stitching showcases the brand's excellent craftsmanship. The official stamp "matteograssi" is discreetly hot-embossed into the leather on the back of each backrest, guaranteeing their authenticity. ▪ Overall very good vintage condition. The saddle leather is firm, healthy, and retains a superb appearance. Note: one of the chairs has undergone careful restoration, making it lighter than the others and very minimally visible on the angle of its backrest. This intervention restores its solidity without altering the overall aesthetic of this magnificent set.
