I am pleased to present you an extremely elegant, original Victorian bureau bookcase from the 19th century. The furniture delights with its classic line, noble mahogany color and unique functionality. As you can see in the attached photo, it is a two-piece piece of furniture that combines the functions of a spacious library and an intimate work space. Upper part (Library/Showcase): Glazed double doors with decorative, geometric mullions (pattern typical of the era). Inside there are shelves with adjustable height, perfect for books or porcelain display. Foldable top (hatch) supported on retractable supports, lined with original, patinated leather with gold embossing, which gives the furniture an amazing vintage character. The interior of the secretary desk: When opened, a beautifully contrasted, bright top with numerous drawers for letters and trinkets and a central compartment is visible. Lower chest of drawers: Equipped with spacious, deep drawers with classic brass handles, mounted on stable, profiled legs. Condition: The furniture is in original condition, very good considering its age. The beautiful patina of time is visible, which only confirms its authenticity and adds soul to it.
