Superb water pitcher / toilet jug from the french earthenware factory moulin des loups et hamage, orchidées model, dating from the 19th century (late 1800s). Signed underneath. Transfer technique. Burgundy red plant decoration embellished with butterflies and birds. Pattern with numerous details on the body, handle and border. Presence of a butterfly on the spout which adds to the charm of the object. To be diverted into a vase. Very beautiful decorative effect! Remarkable state of preservation considering its great age.
