This Scandinavian-inspired sideboard dates back to the 1960s and accurately embodies the functional elegance of mid-century design from Northern Europe. At the intersection of Scandinavian softness and the sobriety of European interiors of the time, it captivates with its clean lines and attention to detail. Its particularly successful asymmetrical façade is one of its strong points: on the left, a cupboard closed by a solid door, featuring a minimalist embedded lock and its lovely original key, houses an interior shelf; on the right, a column of three white drawers, refreshed in their original shade, provides a bright contrast. This composition creates a harmonious visual rhythm while offering ample storage capacity. The fine and regular grain of the teak reveals a veneer typical of Scandinavian productions from this period. Its warm hue is subtly highlighted by small original brass handles with a minimalist design, adding an elegant contrast. The legs, made of tapered feet connected by a curved stretcher, enhance the Scandinavian aesthetic of the piece while giving it a beautiful visual lightness. The rounded side angles of the façade underscore the care taken in the construction of this sideboard. The whole is perfectly proportioned and highly coherent. Versatile, this sideboard can be used as a storage unit in a living room or bedroom, a compact sideboard, a TV unit, or even in an entrance hall, adding a structured and timeless vintage touch. It has been fully sanded and then protected with a medium oak matte varnish to reveal the richness of its teak. The interior has been cleaned, and the original hardware has been preserved. Its condition is remarkable. Features Dimensions in cm: 77.5 (H) x 110 (W) x 45 (D) Materials: Teak and teak veneer, teak legs Colours / finishes: Medium oak matte varnish, white drawers
