Rare wall lamp by willem van oyen, model c-1699, publisher raak amsterdam, 1960s. Work of high quality multicolored glass. Model "stijl-relief", design of cubist inspiration and in particular of the artistic movement "de stijlgroep": "a square painting with areas of color divided rhythmically and precisely, of different height, by the fusion of alchemical glass. Mysterious glass clots form in search of the "philosopher's stone" refined by the fire of the oven". Documented in the raak 8 catalogue of 1968, page 42. Very nice room that diffuses a warm light.
