Mid-century rare sculpture or ashtray in Murano glass attributed to Toni Zuccheri for Venini. Blown glass. This is a very unique and rare item, which can be used both as a sculpture when placed vertically and as an ashtray, decorative object, or empty pockets when placed horizontally. It can be attributed with some certainty to Toni Zuccheri (for Venini), but it is not signed, so it is being sold without absolute certainty of the artist. Stunning gold, transparent, and red colours. It is a luxury mid-century Murano glass item. 1950s / mid-century. Made in Murano, Italy. Excellent vintage condition, with no breaks or cracks. It features internal bubbles typical of Murano blown glass. The bubbles on the outer gold/transparent part are visible but are under the surface and are intact (in the photos they may look like breaks but they are not). Those of the internal red part are intact and in relief. Like all handmade Murano glass artworks, it features natural imperfections due to the blown glass handwork. Measurements (horizontal): 20 X 17.5 X 3.5 h cm.
