Rare set of three paintings with mineral pigments and gold on canvas from the Jatakas, tales and stories considered the word of Buddha. These three works are excerpts from the life of the god Indra (Shakra): in the first he is depicted perched on his elephant named Airavata bringing water to the earth, in the second he is depicted on his chariot (Matali) showing King Nimi hell and heaven, in the third the crowd beats to death the evil brahaman after Indra destroys the royal umbrellas. Very nice representation of Thai art Rattanakosin period Late 18th century-early 19th century.
