Modular bookshelf by Arne Hovmand Olsen, 1960

Elegant teak bookshelf typical of 1960s Danish design, designed by Arne Hovmand Olsen for the publisher Jutex. The upper part consists of a display cabinet closed by two sliding glass doors, one white and the other transparent, offering a lovely play of contrasts. The lower part features a storage module dedicated to the mini-bar space. This is equipped with a retractable shelf hidden within the structure: it easily pulls out to place or serve a glass, then disappears into the furniture once closed. Danish furniture in very good overall condition, both functional and decorative. Thanks to its teak veneered back, it can also serve as a room divider. Dimensions: L.96 x D.47 x H.209 cm.
