Designed by Bertil Fridhagen in the 1960s, this teak bookcase develops vertically through a sequence of open and enclosed spaces, while maintaining light and well-balanced proportions. The deeper lower cabinet features two sliding doors and an adjustable internal shelf, while above are open shelves, also adjustable, and two compartments enclosed by sliding glass panels. The green back panels introduce a subtle chromatic note, pleasantly contrasting with the warm tone of the teak. A solution that reflects Fridhagen’s functional and restrained approach to Swedish furniture design of the period. Good condition. It may show signs of age. Please pay attention to the photographs.
