Zodiac round coffee table - Wood and ceramic - Vallauris

Very beautiful and unique coffee table, from the 60s/70s. Made of solid wood and with a ceramic inlaid top. Very good quality, stable. Patterns reflecting the zodiac wheel, no chips. The designs are stylized, the ceramic tinted very dark green and brick red. The contrast between the top and the wooden frame is truly vibrant. This table is unique in its format, wide and low, but above all in its rare appearance, combining folk craftsmanship and sculptural work. This is a characteristic piece of the productions of the Vallauris workshops. In the tradition of Roger Capron's creations.
