Wrought iron and enamelled ceramic coffee table, 1950s.
The small vintage furniture with its unique charm captivates us. And this little side coffee table possesses that moving singularity. Resting on a black wrought iron structure with delicate twisted legs and feminine scrolls, it is topped with a square tray made of four magnificent glazed ceramic tiles. We love the contrast of these tiles in deep shades (black, bright orange, and touches of nuanced green) that bring a delicately retro splash of color. With small dimensions, we are smitten. From the 1950s, the table remains in beautiful condition. The tiles are simply placed on a wooden panel and not glued. As both a coffee table, end table, or original plant stand, it instantly infuses a bohemian and warm atmosphere into the home.
