Mullca office canteen table in modernist style formica 130 by 65 cm

Perfect proportions to make a dining table not too big or a desk or workshop table of good size! This beautiful modernist style table was made in the 60s by the famous publisher of school furniture mullca (marking "mullca, patented sgdg" on the feet, dating from before 1968), it was probably a school refectory table. It has tapered legs lacquered in black and a tray in formica imitation wood with a nice detail: the corners are protected by small reinforcements in patinated golden metal. Another detail, the feet are removable, they are held in place by two large screws: practical in case of moving! But it will be delivered whole. It is in good structural condition, solid and stable, but does not hide its age: some scratches and various marks on the tray, not too visible, various marks and some points of superficial corrosion on the metal parts. The underside (invisible therefore) of the tray is stained and its coating (a kind of paper) has been torn off along the edge, so I passed a layer of wood glue to prevent us from pulling on this paper and a layer of varnish to further strengthen the underside of the edge. It can leave for many years of use without fear. It lacks a screw that holds the tray in place but this does not pose any concern for strength because it is a screw among thirty others. In the photos, a plastic skate is missing: I replaced it, but only found a black skate. It measures 65 cm by 130 cm for a height of 78 cm.the top has a thickness of 2 cm. It probably weighs in the 10 or 15 kg. Do not hesitate to ask me for a delivery quote, it happens that I can deliver myself.
