French Art Nouveau 5-Light Bronze 3 sided Crystal Cage Chandelier.The upper section is formed as a distinctive three-sided decorative cage with large finial to the bottom. Flowing from the ornate central body, five beautifully cast scrolling arms are enriched with acanthus leaf detailing and terminate in delicately shaped leaf-form candle drip holders, creating a wonderfully balanced and organic design typical of the Art Nouveau period. The chandelier is adorned with an assortment of quality hanging crystals that catch and reflect the light beautifully, The chandelier is suspended from its original seven-link chain and decorative ceiling fitter. The chandelier has French twin core braided wiring and takes 5 bulbs small screw in type E14s. Presented in good condition with age-related wear consistent with its years, with lovely aged patina and some verdigris.The candle drips show some age-related marks and wear, adding to the authentic character and charm of this beautiful vintage piece. The beautiful crystals are in good overall condition with no cracks, showing only minor nibbling to some edges consistent with age. We take great care in packing our crystal chandelier but on occasion some my work loose and it is down to you to rehang them which is usually a simple process.
