Vintage oil painting, "Les Matinés", signed Alain Schlawick

Beautiful vintage landscape, oil painting on canvas. It is signed by alain schlawick, born in 1942. On the back is handwritten the title "les matinés" and the name of the artist (by himself) It is marvellous to see how the artist masters the brushstroke, conveying an immense strength and at the same time a great delicacy. I love how schlawick has managed to blend his signature into the landscape. The paint is in very good condition. The frame has some cheaps, mainly in a corner, as I show in the photos. With frame it measures 31 cm wide, 31 cm high and 6 cm deep. Without the frame it measures 22.5 cm wide and 16.5 cm high.
