Secretary, 3-drawer chest, 1960

Secretary desk with three drawers, 1960s. In very good condition despite its age. Materials: oak veneer on solid pine (drawers) and particle board (structure), solid oak (legs), handles and locking mechanism in gold metal with a brass effect. Some normal signs of wear over time (see photos). The desk area shows normal signs of use from writing materials. The locking mechanism works perfectly. The metal system allowing the opening and holding of the desk area also works perfectly and shows no signs of weakness. The secretary consists of an upper part serving as a desk and a large storage area with an additional small shelf. The lower part is a three-drawer chest that can accommodate a person's wardrobe. It is a beautiful piece, ideal for a small home or for a bedroom where space is limited. Dimensions of drawer interiors: 77 x 31 x 14.5 cm. Dimensions of desk top: 79.5 x 40 cm. Dimensions of upper part interior: 41 cm in height and 37.5 cm when closed. Dimensions of small shelf: 10 cm in height, 15.5 cm in depth.
