Symbol of Italian design from the 1950s and 60s, the MEZZADRO stool was designed by Achille and Pier Giacomo Castiglioni in 1957. The tractor-shaped seat is considered a symbolic object for the Castiglioni brothers and also introduces the ready-made method into design: industrial parts are assembled, creating new types of products suitable for a mass production process. The seat is painted yellow. Curved metal support system and natural wood base. Vintage model with logo and Zanotta triangle under the base. Some signs of wear and micro-scratches on the base due to age (see detailed photos). You buy what you see. Secure Colissimo shipping. Dimensions (cm): H 51.0 X W 49.0 X D 51.0.
