Trade furniture • Shop furniture (19th century) The story of a revival: Born in the 19th century, this piece of trade furniture began its career as a shop counter in Portbail, in the Cotentin (Normandy). Having emerged from a shop that had been closed for ages, it passed through the expert hands of our workshop and Master Alfred to enjoy a second life. To present itself once again before you and continue its service at home or in a professional living space, it underwent restoration in our workshop. It was cleaned, of course, to allow for Master Alfred's diagnosis, who is fond of old solid wood carcasses. After a period of treatment to ensure it could continue its work with wood free from any insects, Alfred recreated its top, shelves, and skirting boards. Here it is, ready to thrive towards a promising future. Its charm attracts and intrigues. All its imperfections, its marks of time, and this beauty born from the mix of woods: Oak, Elm, Ash, offer a unique revitalising restoration and give it a boost to ascend the steps of the 21st century with as much flair! Here it is, ready for hire! To be placed in the centre of a room, against a wall, or as a divider between two spaces, this storage piece, a counter of yesteryear, will find its place in a kitchen or a gallery shop, a restaurant, a guest room, or a holiday cottage, in search of lost time. Dimensions (cm): L181 X D61 X H77. Drawer L43 X D44 X H6.5. Body L52 X D50 X H67.
