Salam Teapot Guy Degrenne Tea

Salam-thé teapot, an iconic piece by guy degrenne designed in 1953. Lavender blue in color, this one is large (about 6 cups). The chrome lid is lined with thermal felt that keeps the tea warm for longer. It is marked "salam thé - guy degrenne - 1953" a removable filter allows you to use loose tea. No cracks or chips, very slight signs of use and a small original defect on the ceramic (lower edge of the teapot, see photo). Although the teapot has been used very little, the chrome has some marks, a small deformation and two dents over a length of about 5cm. Base: 12.5cm wingspan: 24cm.
