Antique oak chest of drawers – Louis XV style – 4 drawers

This elegant antique chest of drawers in Louis XV style has been completely renovated in my workshop to reveal the natural beauty of its oak. Carefully sandblasted, it now showcases a light and warm wood that particularly highlights its curved front, sculpted legs, and intricate details. Its original handles have been preserved to maintain its character. It features four large drawers, all compartmentalised, providing ample storage space. Its oak veneer top, with its checkerboard design, adds a unique touch to the piece. It retains some stains and marks from the past that could not be completely removed during the renovation. These remain visible and testify to the furniture's history. A clear wax finish has been applied to protect the wood while preserving its natural appearance. A charming piece, easy to integrate into both a bedroom and an entrance or living room, where the old can beautifully coexist with more contemporary decor. Dimensions: Back length: 125 cm. Front length: 94 cm. Depth: 51 cm. Height: 89 cm. A unique piece, sourced and artisanally renovated in the Arcachon Basin.
