Avant-Garde sculpture portrait in flamed metal. Germany, 1990s.

German brutalist portrait in sculpted, welded, ground, and flamed metal from the 90s. Clearly influenced by the Avant-Garde / Russian Constructivism movement and Pablo Picasso's early 20th-century cubism. Purchased in Berlin about fifteen years ago. Recently re-framed. The frame is made of lacquered champagne gold wood and patinated with museum glass (no reflections). Height: 40 cm Width: 27 cm. The subject itself measures 17x17 cm. Dated and signed, but I can't decipher the signature. Overall excellent condition with minimal signs of age.
