The antique walnut dressing table, 19th century.

The antique walnut washbasin (or dressing table) topped with a grey veined marble countertop and a backsplash, dating from the late 19th century. It is made of rich walnut wood, featuring framed cabinet doors and a single horizontal drawer, includes wooden towel bars on the side and an integrated locking mechanism on the front doors. It has a securely mounted pivoting mirror in a carved wooden frame. This is a very refined piece of furniture with excellent construction that gives it a noble and affected appearance. Overall very good condition, consistent with age and use; wooden surface with some scratches and minor defects, wear with a splendid patina, with natural cracks in the wood (on the internal drawers). There is an original key. The marble top is very heavy. Presented with moth holes (seen in the photos), to be treated preferably. Measurements: Width 113 cm x depth 57 cm x height 174 cm (with mirror) Made in Milan, Italy. Period: 1880s/1890s.
