Superb antique bed in solid wood and woven cane, typical of French modernist furniture from the 1950s and 60s. Its clean lines, light structure, and geometric caning are reminiscent of creations from French and Belgian workshops after the war (influenced by Guillerme & Chambron, Jeanneret, Meurop, etc.). The bed bears the original workshop stamp (visible in the photo), proof of authentic craftsmanship. This is an elegant, timeless piece, perfect for a child's bedroom, a country house, or an interior with a natural and vintage feel. • Period: circa 1955–1965 • Materials: solid wood (probably oak or beech) and natural cane. • Finish: original satin varnish, beautiful patina. • Condition: excellent, solid structure, perfectly taut caning (just one barely visible imperfection, see photo). • Signature: workshop stamp visible on the crossbar (see photo).
