Art Deco Library in Carved Walnut, circa 1930. Elegant library or storage unit from the Art Deco period, made from carefully veined blonde walnut in the 1930s. The architecturally designed front opens with three doors: two solid side panels framing a central glazed door adorned with its original decorative fabric featuring floral patterns. The upper part has an open niche ideal for displaying objects, books, or collectibles. The piece is enhanced with beautiful carved decorations of stylised flowers on the side panels, as well as a finely crafted floral frieze beneath the cornice. The original metal handles and the geometric lines characteristic of the Art Deco movement add elegance and sobriety to this quality piece. A particularly decorative piece offering a shallow depth, allowing for easy integration into a living room, office, library, or hallway. Period: circa 1930. Style: Art Deco. Material: carved walnut. Dimensions: H 185 X W 158 X D 40 cm. Very good overall condition with a beautiful original patina. A refined and functional piece, representative of French Art Deco furniture from the interwar period.
