Ravier Sarreguemines thistle decoration – 1970s

Sarreguemines earthenware dish, which can also be used as a catch-all or presentation tray. It features an elegant rectangular shape with softened corners, highlighted by a slight rim and resting on two small pads. Its decoration of stylised thistles, in shades of chocolate brown and burnt orange on a speckled cream background, perfectly evokes the natural aesthetic of the 1970s. The brown border subtly emphasises the silhouette of the piece. The underside is stamped Sarreguemines – Unfading decoration, a mark used by the manufacturer for its vitrified decorations resistant to use. Dimensions. Length: 22 cm. Width: 12 cm. Height: 3 cm.
