Directory style marquetry side table

Elegant french living room table from the end of the 19th century and in the directoire style in rosewood and mahogany wood veneer with inlay of a thin strip of light gilded wood. It rests on 4 feet ending in bronze shoes. The top is in wood marquetry with thin gilded inlaid fillet. A protective rod surrounds three of the ribs of the board. This piece of furniture has a central niche closed by 2 leaves covered in trompe l'oeil with leather book bindings and a discreet bronze handle for opening the doors. A drawer completes its facade, equipped with an elegant bronze handle. Some signs of wear on the tray. Dimensions: l 51 cm X d 30.5 cm h 78.5 cm weight 9 kg.
