Pair of Josef Schott candlesticks, brutalist/modernist, 1960

Pair of brutalist candlesticks by josef schott for smålandshyttan, sweden, 1960. Material: glass. In excellent condition despite their great age. Only a small chip on one lower corner is noteworthy (see photo). These candlesticks are typical of his production from the 1960s, with the design of blown and molded optical lenses. The relief pattern on the 4 sides with rings and bubbles refracts the light beautifully. These candlesticks can hold tea lights, pillar candles or taper candles.
