Coffee table "Granit" by Giulio Lazzotti for Mageia, Italy, 1981

Unique granite coffee table designed by Giulio Lazzotti for Mageia, Italy, 1981. One-of-a-kind piece available at the Marseille showroom, worldwide delivery possible with a personalised quote. Rare coffee table designed by Giulio Lazzotti for the Italian publisher Mageia in 1981. It stands out with its imposing square top made of grey stone, entirely worked with fine engraved grooves, forming a geometric composition radiating from a central point marked by a black disc. The textured work of the stone reveals a remarkable play of lines and reliefs, contrasting with the simplicity of the four black cylindrical legs. Both sculptural and minimalist, this creation illustrates an architectural approach to Italian furniture from the 1980s, where raw material and geometric rigor occupy a central place. A singular piece, with a strong presence, straddling the line between furniture and sculpture. DIMENSIONS: 80x75cm H: 32cm.
