Renaissance-style oak chest with fluted columns

Renaissance-style oak chest, 19th century, with a drop-down lid on hinges. The front is marked by four fluted columns framing two shell niches in an arch and a central moulded panel; sides with panels, plinth with wide mouldings on ball feet. Oak panelled top with a frame, iron entry lock. Oak with a matte grey patina, sound wood, overall in good condition. Storage chest suitable for use at the end of a bed, as an entrance bench, or as a coffee table in a classic interior. Dimensions: Width: 143 cm. Height: 95 cm. Depth: 70 cm.
