Large handmade metallic glazed ceramic bowl, circa 1980s–1990s. The richly textured surface features visible concentric lines, emphasizing the handcrafted character of the piece. The metallic finish varies between warm brown, copper and silver tones depending on the angle and surrounding light. Its reflective glaze works particularly well with the irregular texture of the ceramic, giving the surface depth and an almost metal-like appearance. The slightly irregular shape, surface and edge are characteristic of its handmade construction rather than industrial production. The underside shows darker variations resulting from the production and firing process. The maker is unknown and the piece is not visibly signed. We estimate it to date from the 1980s or 1990s. The bowl is preserved in very good vintage condition, with only minimal signs of age and use. A substantial decorative ceramic piece that works particularly well as a centrepiece on a dining table, coffee table or sideboard. Measurements: Height: 7 cm. Diameter: 69 cm.
