Vintage Wassily chair by Marcel Breuer

One of the most influential chairs of the 20th century in exceptional condition. Breuer's B3 reduced the club chair to pure geometry — tubular chrome, taut leather planes, nothing else — and has never needed updating, even though the design dates back to 1925. This original vintage Wassily chair is in excellent condition. The polished chrome is clean and shiny all over, with no pitting or oxidation. The black leather is full grain — confirmed by the smooth, finished underside — and maintains excellent hold and tension on all the straps. Dating from the 1970s-1980s, but still in excellent condition, with signs of use consistent with its age (mainly slight wear marks on the seat and backrest). Dimensions (HxWxD): 75cm X 80cm X 70cm.
