Renovated old chest

Old wooden chest completely renovated. It was sanded and cleaned. The exterior surfaces were treated against wood insects and then fed and protected with ecological hard oil. The interior surfaces are painted in pale green hidey hole 307 from lilttle greene + waxed finish. The hinges have been replaced by new ones. Condition: the trunk is strong and stable. Despite the renovation, there are still imperfections or traces of time, they are related to the age of the furniture and participate in its charm. The boards used for the construction are of irregular surface and have traces of ancient attacks of wood insects (see photos) and some white traces left by old paintings, all this makes up its beautiful current patina.
