Large gilded bronze hot water bottle lamp

Large bouillotte lamp in gilt bronze with swan decoration, Empire green painted canvas shade – 19th / early 20th century Elegant Empire style bouillotte lamp, in finely chiseled gilt bronze, resting on a circular base with guilloché decoration. Light arms in the shape of swans spreading their wings, supporting three candle-shaped lights. Adjustable shade in Empire green painted sheet metal, decorated with gilt friezes and a stylized central motif. The upper part is topped with a central stem ending in an arrow and a ring handle. Working electrics (old twisted wiring should be modernized for greater safety). Condition: good general condition with wear and patina of time (cracking on the paint of the lampshade, light oxidation on the bronze). Period: late 19th – early 20th century, Empire style.
