1970s Czech Geometric Pressed Glass and Chrome Cube Pendant Light

Exceptional geometric pendant light produced in Kamenický Šenov, Czechoslovakia, during the 1970s. The chandelier is constructed from individual square pressed-glass panels arranged into a sculptural cube form. Each panel features an elaborate starburst and circular relief pattern, creating a highly decorative three-dimensional surface. When illuminated, the deeply molded clear glass refracts the light throughout the structure and produces a warm, jewel-like effect. Chrome-plated metal brackets connect the individual glass elements, while a slender polished suspension rod gives the substantial glass shade a visually light and architectural appearance. The combination of geometric construction, richly patterned glass and chrome detailing is characteristic of innovative Czechoslovak lighting design of the period. The metal components have been carefully repolished and the electrical system has been renewed. The fixture uses one E26/E27 bulb socket and is compatible with European and US electrical systems. The total suspension height can be shortened upon request before shipping at no additional cost. The piece remains in very good vintage condition, showing only minor signs of use and age consistent with its 1970s origin.
