Tulip Knoll pedestal table in black Marquina marble, by Eero Saarinen

Iconic Tulip model pedestal table/side table, created by the famous American architect and designer of Finnish origin Eero Saarinen in 1957 and published by Knoll International. Cast aluminum base and black Italian Marquina marble top. A timeless classic. The top is absolutely impeccable, the base - itself - presents the classic "defect" of old knoll pieces: the rilsan (black coating) is very slightly detached in certain places at the bottom if we inspect it closely (but no gaps , and well glued underneath).
