Metal desk

Minister-type with its two drawer boxes, this vintage industrial desk most likely produced by atal consists of a gray/greige metal frame, a wood-effect formica support and a gilded aluminum edging. It is characteristic of the production of the 1970s of this manufacturer that has become an iconic brand of industrial furniture, synonymous with functionality and durability. The six drawers open very wide (see measurements at the end of the description) and can be dismounted and maintained easily: just make sure that they remain sufficiently greased to maintain a good slip. Two drawers are specifically dedicated to storage in filing cabinets/hanging files and small office utensils (pens, etc.). Filing cabinets can be removed to turn the drawer into normal storage. The upper tray is attached to the boxes very simply by a system of latches. Its formica coating is in good condition and shows no obvious signs of wear. The underside of the desk is equipped with a rail system that allows the width and space between the boxes to be adjusted as needed. The metal structure is mounted on pointed legs, with a smooth black finish. The office has not undergone any structural or superficial changes and is in good general condition for its age.
