Antique hand-painted earthenware plate – piper and birds

Superb antique earthenware plate hand-decorated with a rural scene: a piper under a tree inhabited by colorful birds. The naive details and bright colors bring a lot of charm and recall the spirit of regional earthenware from the 19th century. The rim is decorated with an elegant frieze of green and blue lambrequins, highlighted with a yellow line. Period patina and small chips on the edge visible in photos, without detracting from the beautiful decorative effect.
