Set of four solid oak monastery style chairs

Description. Set of four solid oak monastery style chairs. The cushions on the chairs which are all in great condition are removable. Three are a deep oxblood colour and the fourth is a soft brown. This could be changed but I think it looks nice and the bottoms all match so I decided not to mess with the cushion. The rounded backs are decorated with curved bars. They rest on 4 curved legs connected by a spacer which gives them very good robustness. Period 1920/1930. The chairs all have a harmonious appearance, the beautiful honey colour of the oak enhances it. There is just one repair that has been done but it is an old repair and very professionally done, it is well hidden and barely noticeable, you can see it in the photos, The chairs are studied and straight, no wobbling! There is one chair with only a few very old woodworm holes, I treated it as a precaution but it was historic, I filled the old dwellings with dark wax so it disappeared, The frame is in perfect restored condition, beautiful natural patina waxed in our workshop.
