Tapa dating from the middle of the 20th century made in polynesia on the island of wallis and futuna composed of a tapa (“fabric” in polynesian) made from beige and imperfect niaouli leaves mounted on two horizontal battens including that of the top has three hooks: three nails to the wall and that's it! Decorated with brown geometric patterns made using natural pigments, this large-format work of raw art is in good general condition since the work has no holes; however, some edges have a few tears or more which give it its authentic and artisanal character. Ideal in a large room with perspective, this polynesian work will find its place in any type of interior and will bring a vintage and outsider art touch to your interior.
