Iconic circular coffee table from the 1960s by Roger Capron, for Vallauris, France. This iconic coffee table was made by the French ceramist Roger Capron in the 1960s. Solid wood and plywood structure, top made of ceramic tiles with a herbarium pattern. Each tile is unique, in fact it is from a natural plant embedded in the earth before firing that the pattern is formed, like a fossil. In very good vintage condition, the table bears the signature of Roger Capron's workshop in Vallauris.
