Mid century retro vintage teak bookcase 1960

Mid century retro vintage teak large bookcase 1960. Practical storage like this bookcase always comes in handy somewhere in the modern home and this is a very nice example, consisting of a large upper part of the bookcase and a long base cabinet. The design is fairly unfussy and utilitarian, but the striped wood patina on the lower sliding doors stands out. A very handsome piece, very well made and robust by its british maker, herbert e gibbs, it dates back to the 1960s and can serve for many years to come. In good used vintage condition.
