Tulip Table by Eero Saarinen

Side table from the Tulip collection designed by Eero Saarinen in 1956. Edition Knoll International. Top in Brown Emperador marble, base in cast iron with black Rilsan finish. An iconic piece combining lightness, organic design, and a resolutely contemporary simplicity. In perfect general condition, this piece shows only a few signs of normal wear: slight impacts on the base and a slightly detached fiberglass fabric under the top (see last photos). The glossy finish of the top has some micro scratches on the surface and minor chips on the edge. All of these defects are not visible to the naked eye without careful examination.
