American cylinder desk (renovated)

Large oak American desk with a roller shutter that could also be used as a reception counter in a business. Originally from England, it dates from the early 20th century. Materials: Solid oak. Features: This American desk has two retractable shelves on either side of its seat, as well as eight drawers (one large central one, four on the left, and three, including a double one, on the right). It closes with a roller shutter and features numerous small storage spaces and drawers on its top. The upper and lower sections of the American desk are removable. The roller shutter locks with a key. And the drawers have a little secret: some only open if the roller shutter is unlocked. The desk sits on four small casters. Renovation: This American desk was completely sanded to remove its damaged varnish. It was then washed and left in its raw wood state, giving you the choice of finish, depending on your intended use (wax or varnish). Condition: This American desk is in superb condition. Its roll-top shutter works very well but requires gentle pulling with both hands to prevent it from derailing. Its drawers glide perfectly. It is solid and stable on its legs.
