Authentic roll-top desk from 1893, with a functional and understated design. The drop-down front with a sliding curtain reveals an organised tier with compartments, two small drawers, and storage for mail and supplies. Spacious writing surface flanked by two removable side shelves. Asymmetrical lower part: a column of drawers on one side, a cupboard with a shelf on the other. Original key included. Rounded lines, warm patina, and typical charm of American furniture from the era. In good condition with some signs of use confirming its 130 years of loyal service. Sound structure and smooth mechanisms, ready to serve for another 130 years.
