Pair of peacocks Chinese porcelain enamelling polychrome mid-XXth H.35cm

Pair of chinese porcelain peacocks with polychrome enamelling from the mid-twentieth century. Brilliant glazes in the dominant shades of turquoise and eggplant. Each of the bases (not enamelled below) has a stamp (see photos and zoom). Very nice overall condition. Note two superficial splinters on the perimeter of one of the bases (see photos and zoom). Each peacock is 35 cm high and its total profile width is 11.5 cm. The price shown is for the pair of peacocks.
