Very pretty watercolor on paper representing two shells from the conch family. The largest could be used as a musical instrument and one could sometimes find a small pink pearl, formed from a small shoot that the shell, trying to defend itself, wrapped in a thin layer of mother-of-pearl. His flesh was also eaten. This pretty watercolor in pastel tones, very well represented, is framed by a blue border and a gilded glass frame. It is signed lower left j richg. Condition, it is in very good condition, with a trace of humidity at the bottom of the shell and three small white traces at the brown mat (dust). Very decorative, for lovers of the sea and travel.
