Rare original PH 5 table lamp by Poul Henningsen, manufactured by Louis Poulsen, dated 1963. Fully serviced: completely dismantled, cleaned, rewired with twisted gold cloth flex, grounded, and carefully reassembled. Can be supplied fitted with an EU or US plug (please specify). An iconic Scandinavian design, the PH 5 is named after the 50 cm diameter of its top shade. Designed in 1958, Henningsen’s multi-shade system is engineered to direct light downward while reducing glare. This example features white lacquered metal shades with red and blue reflectors that add warmth to the light, supported by a three-part frame and base in patinated brass. Shade in spun aluminium. Excellent vintage condition with age-related wear, patina, and minor marks consistent with age and use.
