Scandinavian teak bookcase from the 1960s, conceived as a multifunctional piece combining shelving, a writing desk and storage space. The upper section is open and visually light, with exposed shelves, while the pull-out surface extends the cabinet to create a writing area. The base, raised on tapered legs, features two sliding doors with recessed handles and an internal shelf. Slender profiles, rounded edges and elongated proportions are characteristic of Scandinavian furniture design of the period, when different functions were often integrated into a single, restrained structure.
