Desk and chair

Desk and its chair. Their structure is very elaborate, with turned legs (rounded and sculpted columns). The lower part of the desk features a decorative arcature composed of repeated semi-circular arches. Period: Neo-Renaissance or Neo-Gothic from the late 19th century, typical of the so-called historicist period (around 1880–1910). At this time, there was a strong preference for incorporating ancient architectural elements (arches, small columns, sculpted motifs) into furniture. Top: 102 X 72 cm. Height: 71 cm.
