Axel O. Röck oak sideboard, Denmark 1963

Rare oak sideboard designed by Axel O. Röck for Otterup Møbelfabrik, Denmark, 1963. The cabinet features four sliding doors, with the two central doors enriched by carved decorative panels. The scalloped lower edge, turned legs, and stretcher base give the piece a strong and distinctive presence. The design combines Danish mid-century craftsmanship with clear Baroque and folk-inspired influences. Behind the sliding doors are shelves and pull-out trays lined in green fabric. Executed in warm oak with a rich grain and original patina. Marked on the back by Otterup Møbelfabrik with date stamp 22 Aug. 1963. In good vintage condition with light signs of use consistent with age and beautiful patina.
