Empire style gold candle holder

Empire inspiration for this elegant toilet or writing candlestick, in bronze and gilded brass. Late 19th century work with a fluted column shaft on a square, molded and engraved base. Note the pretty details of the webbed bobèche and its 4 beaded feet. A classic piece, often transformed into a side lamp or simply decorative on a fireplace/desk/library/etc. Edge. Some old traces of oxidation due to its age, dimensions: 17x8 cm.
